Come along for a culinary tour of the Hawkeye State with some delicious food, treats, and drinks. Everything included is homemade and homegrown throughout the state of Iowa. Farmer’s Best Popcorn: This microwavable popcorn is grown in Worthington, IA, where it is sold. The Badgers and Hawkeyes battle each fall for a bronze bull. Try some corn-fed beef which was raised and butchered outside of Bankston, IA. Iowa leads the nation in pork production, and this pork from the Edgewood, IA locker will show you why. All hogs were raised by Iowa hog farmers. What would dinner be without a little wine? Try some wine from the Promiseland winery outside of Guttenburg, IA. Head to Dubuque for some desserts that are sweet to the mouth and the soul. Betty Jane candies and Caramels made by the Trappistine Nuns of the Our Lady of the Mississippi Abbey.
