Golden Gala FAQs
What are we Celebrating?
This year's Golden Gala celebrates an incredible milestone—50 years of The Arc of Greater Williamsburg! It's an evening to celebrate our clients, families, supporters, and community.
Food & Beverage Details
Come hungry and ready to have fun. Guests will enjoy a variety of food throughout the evening while mingling, playing casino games, and celebrating The Arc's 50th anniversary. An open bar will also be available throughout the evening.
Attire Suggestions
Cocktail attire with a golden touch! Guests are encouraged to embrace our Golden Gala theme by adding a little gold to their look—whether it's a dress, tie, jewelry, accessories, or just a touch of sparkle. Gold is encouraged but certainly not required!
Parking & Logistics
Parking is available at The Colonial Heritage Golf Club, where the event will be held. The Golden Gala will be held on Friday, November 13, 2026, from 6:00–9:00 PM at Colonial Heritage in Williamsburg. We encourage guests to arrive on time so you don't miss any of the casino fun, raffle drawings, or special moments throughout the evening. Check-in will begin starting at 5:45pm.
Casino Logistics
No casino experience is necessary. Our professional dealers will be there to explain the games and help you along the way, so beginners are encouraged to join in the fun.
Play the casino games with your chips received at check-in and turn your winnings into chances to win from our fun selection of raffle prizes. You can decide which prizes you'd like to try to win and enter your raffle tickets accordingly.
You don't have to play in the casino to participate in the raffle! Additional raffle tickets will also be available for purchase separately throughout the evening.
What is the Paddle Raise and what does it support?
At the end of the evening, we'll come together for a special Paddle Raise benefiting The Arc of Greater Williamsburg. Guests who would like to make an additional donation can simply raise their numbered paddle at the giving level that's right for them—there's no bidding involved.
Every paddle raised represents a direct gift supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our community. Donations help fund important needs such as transportation, vocational training, evening activities, and meaningful day-program experiences.
