Last year was my first year on the ARRR and it was definitely the first time I've ridden over 150 miles in a week. Did it hurt? Yes. Were there times that I wanted to quit? Absolutely.

Well, those moments when it starts to hurt--the ones that make you want to quit--are why I ride.

I ride for those who cannot, for those who are no longer with us, and for those whom HIV/AIDS has stripped their very will to keep peddling.

The Aids Red Ribbon Ride is a fundraiser to support HIV testing, prevention, education, and AIDS care through Trillium Health in Western New York.
