I can't begin to explain to you how important art has been in my life, let alone the countless lives of individuals finding their way in school and their communities. One of the programs I am attached to dearly is the SmArts program, which receives support through this campaign. SmArts is a way to blend The Arts, Language and STEM (STEAM as it is now referred to) in a fun way that school aged children are sure to remember! I have personally been a part of helping students write their first songs, build and create instruments, and learn about the world of vibration all around us through fun, thought provoking experiments!
