Hello to my dear friends and family near,far, past and present. I’m excited to be participating in Alport Syndrome Foundation's 2025 Annual Campaign! This hereditary kidney disease has and continues to affect many members of my entire family.  My grandfather ED, passed away as a very young man leaving behind a legacy of children , grand children and great grandchildren who have been affected by this rare kidney disease, which primarily affects the males,  and results in end stage kidney failure and need of transplants ... My nephew at age 20 is post transplant this year, two cousins with transplants , my cousin Jeff( age 34) currently in need of a kidney donation , MY boys and 3 other nephews., also are affected . I’m passionate about this cause and the more funding for research and treatment and a cure is greatly needed. I wouid appreciate your support with all of my heart .  Every donation—big or small—helps me reach my fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause.

Our family participated in the National Kidney Walk in October( my daughter Taylor volunteered to be Sydney the Kidney at the walk and is pictured above with me !) Because I wanted my fundraising efforts to go directly to Alport Syndrome Foundation , I deferred my fundraising for  this giving month campaign .
