In 2018 right before her 9th birthday, my granddaughter Madison was diagosed with Germinoma. Brain Cancer! She had not 1 but 2 tumors on her brain! It was heartbreaking to hear those words! I automatically thought 'why Madison?!' She was an active little girl that played softball since she was 4 years old! How could this be happening?! This doesn't happen to one of my kids!  I never thought for one minute that something like this would happen to any of them! But it did! She couldn't use her left arm! It broke my heart! When she started losing her hair when doing chemo, it broke me! The ASK foundation came to her rescue, including my daughter and son-in-law! They were there 100% for all of them! They helped with food, gas, counceling. They helped Madison by getting her snacks, playing games with her to help take her mind off of what was going on even if it was for a little while and just by being there to support her all the time. This foundation is 100% for those kids like Madison. This is why I will always support this foundation. If it weren't for them my kids would have been lost trying to deal with what was happening. I wish there were more people in the world like these people! The ASK Foundation for Childhood Cancer is the best around! They don't keep any of the money, they put it all giving to those kids and their families! Thank you ASK for what you have done for my kids! Madison is in remission now and we pray it stays that way for the rest of her life. The great thing about the ASK foundation is that they will always be there for her. She will always be an ASK kid!
