Subject: Let's make life better for kids with cancer!

I am participating in an upcoming virtual event that will make life better for cancer, and I want you to join me! This spring, we can walk/run or get together virtually for the ASK 5K & Fun Walk in honor/memory of           and raise money for ASK. We are going to have a lot of fun on Team ____ and we'll be making life better for kids while cancer while we're doing it.

ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation is a local nonprofit that offers Assistance, Support, and Kindness for children with cancer. Their efforts are focused on the 100 children diagnosed with cancer each year here in our community and the 500 young survivors.

The children and their families need help dealing with the complex and stressful issues that come with cancer treatment, so ASK supports them by providing direct financial, emotional, and educational resources during this difficult time. ASK can only continue to help these families with our support through fundraising events like this race.

Here are the details:

Virtual 5K with a Curbside Packet Pick-Up on Friday, May 7th and a Facebook Live Virtual Program on Saturday, May 8th at 10:00am.

How: We can hit the road for our 5K course any time that weekend! Registering to be part of my team is EASY. Go to www.ASKWalk.org and click on Register Then select “Join a Team” and follow the directions.

The bigger we grow our team, the better. If we get big enough, we can have our own team signs at the packet pick-up, be on the particpant t-shirt, win prizes and be recognized during the virtual program. I also really want to honor            and make life better for all the kids with cancer in our area, so I'm hoping that you'll accept my challenge as a team member to raise $_________.

For more information about why it's so important to me to be a part of the ASK 5K & Fun Walk, please visit www.ASKccf.org or contact me at ___ -___ -____.

Thank you,
