Thank you for giving.

Brevard was ranked four out of Florida’s nine counties that are highest for pedestrian-versus-auto injuries and fatalities. Associate giving provided 2,000 to bicyclists, runners, and walkers to help curb those injuries and fatalities. Hear from members of our Trauma team below.

Your generosity through Associate Month of Giving (AMG) provided 2,000 pedestrian safety lights for the Be Seen Be Safe Outreach and Prevention Program as part of our Trauma team’s efforts to help curb pedestrian traffic injuries and fatalities.

“As a trauma surgeon, I see the devastation – as a triathlete and a fellow Floridian, I care. My message is, wear lights and look out,” said Dr. Scott Zenoni, Health First Trauma Surgeon.

“Thank you to all my fellow associates who participate in AMG,” said Mandy Robinson BSN, RN, CCRN, Trauma Clinical Outreach Coordinator and Injury Prevention at Holmes Regional Medical Center.

“Your donations made it possible for us to provide these lights that help call attention to pedestrians at night. this important education on pedestrian-vs-auto injuries helps us increase awareness within the community.”
