About the Walk - No One Walks Alone
Ready to celebrate those who are different? This 11th annual FREE event honors all individuals with special needs and brings awareness to family support.  The event also promotes inclusion and assures no one is alone on their journey.   The Autism SHARE Walk serves as a fundraiser for SHARE, a local nonprofit dedicated to caring for families where there are children with special needs.

Please consider forming a team, supporting one, or donating to our cause.  This helps us provide thousands of hours of relief care, parent training, support groups, sibiling support programs and other resources to families who care for children with special needs in the Permian Basin.  When you register, as an individual, join a team, or form one of your own, you will be prompted to setup a personal fundraising page which can be shared with friends and on social media to let them know you are walking for autism, awarness and all disabilities.  Fundraising is optional, but each event participants must register for the free event.  

Event Details

  • Largest walk in the Permian Basin
  • All Walkers must register and sign event waiver.  Online registrants can skip the registration line and pick up their bracelets on site in the morning at 8:30am or the Friday before
  • Day-of Registration opens at 8:30am
  • Opening Ceremonies begin at 9:30am
  • Autism SHARE Walk steps off at 10:00am
  • Lunch, tshirts, free kids activities and door prizes
  • 1 mile walk with shortcut halfway
  • Awards for largest team, top fundraisers, best team tshirt
  • Leashed pets, strollers, buggies, trikes, and other walking/riding aids permitted
  • Preregistration Friday, April 17th on site11:30am-1:30pm & 4:30-7pm (skip the lines and get your wristbands) 
  • Raffle tickets on sale now
  • Tshirt Adult $15 Child $10

Resource Fair

  • For ALL Disabilities and all ages
  • 8:30-1:00pm
  • Meet with representatives from local companies and agencies that offer special services and programs for the special needs community


SHARE (Sharing Hands, A Respite Experience)

A special need affects everyone in a family, not only the person experiencing the disability.  SHARE is a local non-profit dedicated to caring for every member of families who have children with special needs.  SHARE provides respite care (temporary relief for caregivers), counseling and ongoing support for parents and siblings.  SHARE is a community of supportive friends because no one should be alone on this journey. Help us make a difference in the lives of these families, right here, right now!
