Angels of the Battlefield is our signature event, which allows us to raise mission critical funds to strengthen military families. This year, we are asking YOU to support military families by helping us raise $1 million. The money raised will ensure that our 160-year legacy doesn’t end here.
Military life for junior enlisted service members and their families consists of great pride, duty and honor. But it can also be very challenging. The recent health pandemic exacerbated the struggles young military families already faced. In 2020, military spouses struggled to find work after losing their jobs, which led to nearly forty percent of active-duty families needing critical food support.
The Armed Services YMCA aims to enhance the lives of military service members and their families in spirit, mind and body by providing essential programs and services as a solution to day to day problems. But we cannot continue to uphold our mission without YOUR support.
