Thank you for supporting Junior Achievement!  A 50/50 raffle works just like any other raffle where participants purchase tickets for a chance to win a prize of half the proceeds (aka the amount raised through 50/50 tickets). For example, if we sell 100 tickets at $10 each ($1,000 jackpot) -- Junior Achievment retains half of the proceeds ($500) and the winner takes home the other half ($500).
