JA of Greater Cleveland Online Auction

The critical need and demand for economic education programming in northeast Ohio continues to grow. Junior Achievement is raising money to support 1,600 local students through an online auction which will take place November 9 - 20. Junior Achievement provides financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and career-readiness programs to youth grades K-12. All programs are taught by community volunteers who mentor the students. JA develops youth with the skills, attitudes and work ethic to be successful employees, entrepreneurial thinkers, voters, customers and citizens. Junior Achievement empowers young people to succeed in a global economy and own their economic success.

General Auction Procedures:

The 2020 22nd annual Junior Achievement of Greater Cleveland Online Auction will be live from Monday, November 9th at 9:00 a.m. through Friday, November 20th at 7:00 p.m.  At the close of the Auction on November 20th the winning bidders will be notified.  Some items will ship free, although some exceptions may apply for larger items.

 

Bidding will start at up to 50% of the fair market value of an item as determined by the donor organization.  To place a bid you must enter a bid that is at least equal to the minimum bid or higher.  Each item has its own minimum raise amount which is clearly listed for each item on the section of the page where bids are placed.  When bidding closes on November 20th at 7:00 pm. EST the highest bidder at this time will win the item.  You will also have an opportunity to choose a buy it now option on each item while the auction is live.  If you choose a buy it now option you will automatically become the winning bidder at the price listed.  No information for a credit card payment made online is stored or retained by Junior Achievement of Greater Cleveland.
