2024 marked a transformative year for Volunteers in Medicine Hilton Head Island, filled with significant growth and progress. We expanded our mission to reach a broader geographic area, reflecting the increasing number of our workers who commute from off the Island. Our impact also grew with a 22% increase in patient visits compared to the previous year, a testament to the community’s need and our commitment to meeting it. And, in addition to medical care, we continued to expand our specialty services, now offering 26 specialized areas along with five disease management clinics, including wellness and mental health support.
