Hello! I am on the committee for the Ronald McDonald House's Autumn Children's Festival this year, and we need your help! This is an incredibly important fundraiser for the House, which is a 26-bedroom facility that provides a home away from home for families with sick or seriously injured children receiving care at Chattanooga-area hospitals.
The Festival, in it's 28th year, is an annual fundraiser for the House, with all proceeds benefitting the families at the House. It's a 2-day event filled with activities such as carnival games, inflatable slides, kiddie train, petting zoo, arts & crafts, horse rides, face painting, superhero and princess sightings, and more! The Festival takes place on Saturday, October 7 (10am - 6pm) and Sunday, October 8 (1pm - 5pm) at the TN Riverpark on Amnicola Highway. Admission is free, and activities cost $0.50-$3.00 each.
So, how can you help? Well, I'm glad you asked! Obviously, come visit us at the festival! Other ways you can help are volunteering at the festival or making a donation to the house. For more information about volunteering, send me a message, and I'll get you in touch with the right person. If you'd like to make a donation to the House, you are in the right place!
Oh, and fundraising is sort of a competition, so there's that... Ready, set, GO!
