Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 10th Annual Autism SHARE Walk.
Three hour shifts are available 6am-3pm on Saturday, April 27th. (6am-9am, 9am-noon, noon-3pm). Also, we can accommodate hours based on your availability.
Hours apply towards Legacy Scholarships, Texas Scholars, and meet most other assigned volunteer requirements.
Volunteer tasks include, general event setup, hospitality, crowd control, children's activities and more. Because this event serves children, we require a background check if you are 18 or over. If you are volunteering as a group or representative of your company, we can accept an official letter from the company confirming the staff meets these requirements.
To sign up as a volunteer, please register for the event. You may register as a fundraising or non-fundraising participant. Please select the volunteer category based on your age. Your participation is recorded and reported to our funders, therefore we ask for general demographic information as well as how you are connected to our cause. Included is an option saying you are here to show your support.
Once you are registered, you will be contacted by our volunteer coordinator, Laura Pittinger, to schedule shifts, initiate the background check process and the solidify details of your position.
