Most of us do not realize the added costs that occur when a family has a child with cancer. One parent may have to give up his/her job to take care of the child. There may be travel expenses - gas, hotels, and meals at the treatment center. Medical costs may not be fully covered. On and on it goes!!
I am committed to helping these families through the Metro Area Youth Foundation. Our MAYF goals are to:
Provide financial and other support to children receiving treatment for cancer.
Assist families and care partners of pediatric cancer patients.
Assist healthcare providers and camps serving children with cancer.
