This year for my birthday, I am raising funds for the Metro Area Youth Foundation who serves families in the Midwest facing the challenges of Childhood Cancer. My grandson, Finley Michael O’Hara was discovered in March to have a Wilms’s Tumor, a rare childhood cancer. One kidney was removed immediately, and he has been receiving cancer treatments for cancer in his lungs and spine since then. It has been a very challenging time for the entire family. I am so proud of him and his family as they have persevered through these difficult times.
I am committed to helping the Metro Area Youth Foundation meet their goals to:
Provide financial and other support to children receiving treatment for cancer.
Assist families and care partners of pediatric cancer patients.
Assist healthcare providers and camps serving children with cancer.
