Hello Friends,

I have been inspired by the amazing organization, Amman Imman, who help bring clean water to communities in West Africa and I am excited to be a part of their Walk for Water 2015.

Today, the children of the Azawak community walk up to 30 miles round trip for just a bucket of water after waiting in line for up to two days. Food shortage and disease are endemic, and half the children die before reaching the age of five, often of thirst.

Amman Imman's work has drastically helped change the communities they aid. Morbidity and mortality rates have improved, education and livelihoods are more stable, and the Azawak have a much better quality of life. But there are still many more communities in need.
