My daughter Skylar was born July 29 2012. When she was born she had many complications: bleeding in the brain, her kidneys and liver were shut down, had fluid in her lungs and tissues. During her stay at Children's she needed two surgeries, one to repair her 3 hernias and the other to place a feeding tube. After a long 5 months of ups and downs my baby girl was finally able to come home. She was still on oxygen, had the feeding tube, and on an apnea monitor and started going to physical therapy. 2 1/2 years later she is a very happy little girl, learning new things everyday and I have Children's to thank for that. All of the hard work of all the Doctors, Surgeons, and Nurses my baby girl is still here with us today.
