I started this team "Seiger's Warriors" in honor of my now 18 month old son Seiger. Shorty after my son was born he was born with Cervical Dystonia also known as spasmatic torticollis, which is a painful condition in which your neck muscles contract involuntarily, causing your head to twist or turn to one side. Cervical dystonia can also cause your head to uncontrollably tilt forward or backward. My son spent many months doing physical therapy as well as wearing a cranial cap to help with the shaping of his head. Now that my son is doing AMAZING we wanted to find a way to give back to Children's Hospital for taking such great care of my son as well as myself, and what better way to give back than this 'Walkathon!"
