Kids who have mentors view themselves and their futures positively. Not only do they develop confidence, they also achieve more positive outcomes in school, the workplace, and their communities.

College Mentors for Kids connects kids to college students through weekly on-campus activities that inspire growth, confidence, and brighter futures. I have a unique perspective on College Mentors for Kids because I was a part of the program in elementary school - with Ball State, too! The program solidified my dream of going to college and made me optimistic for my educational future.

This year I advanced to a position on our executive board. I supervise an activity day each week and handle logistics. This position is totally different compared to my role last year, and I am grateful for this experience. College Mentors for Kids allows me to gain social work experience, leadership skills, and improve my interpersonal skills with students.

College Mentors for Kids wouldn't thrive without donations. We are a non-profit based program and rely on grants. A donation would allow us to continue paying for transportation for our students, provide snacks, and materials for our activities. Your contribution would further the empowerment of Delaware County's elementary students.
