I am fundraising for Junior Achievement because they strive to inspire young people to be successful in our global economy. This is my fourth consecutive year supporting JA as a "JA in a Day" volunteer in my community. "JA in a Day" is their one day program where I am able to influence change in HISD schools through hands on activities, to educate and empower the students to reach their full potential and help them understand business and economics. Without the support of the community through partnerships, donations and volunteers, we wouldn't be able to provide these beneficial programs.
