About TCA Bands & This Event

The TCA Band Program is rooted in the development of musical and personal excellence. Students grow in skills and relationships, learning to create quality displays of instrumental music while supporting each other.

Band is a quintessential team activity: students hone their individual skills to contribute to an enterprise much larger than themselves. Every sound a student makes affects the sounds of all students in the ensemble they perform with. In this way, we learn to assist each other. Everyone's success is our own, and vice versa.

The Chili Dinner features some of our student performers, most of whom are in the jazz ensembles here at TCA. Attendees will experience music that spans the jazz timeline, from big band to Latin to Rock.

The funds raised support all Band students (grades 7-12) by purchasing music, transporting students to performance locations, providing entrance fees to various festivals, and helping to fund the instruments they play—all for the love of our students and the love of music.

THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS
