In 2016 after my daughter's old dog, Benji died, she was devastated. Seven weeks later she rescued a very shy Beagle mix from Providence Animal Center named "Mark". She quickly changed his name to "Bogey" in part after Humphrey Bogart but spelled it differently because she's a golfer. They rescued each other and while he wasn't trained whatsoever and literally ate her entire living room furniture, he became her angel.
