I created this page for bark in the park in memory of my dog Blitz who died unexpectedly in August after giving me 13 and a half years of joy and protection.
Blitz was a rescued fur baby puppy fron a high kill zone in Darlington SC in 2010 with his 3 siblings. Blitz chose us after being in foster care and came home with us in May 2010. Blitz was a very active dog all of his life. Due to my work scheduled Blitz did not make many Friends other than is family often very misunderstood. But that's what made Blitz my Blitzy.Blitz beat cancer when he was 6 due to early detection. When covid I was able to give Blitz more time and he made more friends both people and friends alike. This past year Blitz spent more time alone after my mother passed. Before she became sick would visit him every day. But I was back at work. But he was so happy to spend what time he could with me and always had a smile on his face if he wasn't barking. He loved cheesesteak, French fries and pizza. He loved his family to the ends of the earth.
As I said, Blitz was very lucky to find a forever home. I know Blitz would want his fiends to be as lucky.
Please help Blitz's Friends.
Thank you
Cathy
