My Personal Fundraising Page

This year, I am raising funds for Providence Animal Center (PAC) in memory of a beautiful dog named Dutchess.

Dutch was rescued by PAC's humane officer 11 years ago after being left outside in the sweltering summer heat. This neglect left her in poor condition when she arrived at PAC's doors, but thanks to the officer's quick work and the care of the medical staff, she persevered. She was then fostered by a loving family who was willing to take her in for many months while her case was being investigated, until she was finally able to be placed up for adoption. That very foster family adopted her and gave her an incredible life, and helped her pass peacefully this year, 11 years after that fateful day in the sun.

Dutch's story exemplifies so much of what PAC does for animals in need - investigates local acts of cruelty, provides excellent and urgent medical care, utilizes a wide network of foster families to make more space in the kennels, and finds caring adoptive families who will love their new pet for the rest of their lives. She was a beautiful soul who deserved a life of love, and every animal should be as lucky as she was. Your donation will make that life possible for many more homeless dogs and cats.
