This year at PAC I took the role of Medical Care Manger. I oversee all of PACs medical cases and work alongside with the PAC veteraniarns. For the first time in PACs history we are actively seeking out serious, sometimes deadly, and risky cases. A few examples are Parvovirus, Panluekonia, Pnemonia, hit by car, heartworm positive, emacaiated.
Not to mention I have spearheaded the brand new TLC program. We take in orphan kittens, and puppies and bottle feed them and care for them until theyre ready for adoption. We have a team of almost 20 foster families and in nearly a year and a half we have helped save almost 300 kittens.
All of these sensitive cases can get costly. It would be easy to say no and only take in and care for healthy animals. But I feel drawn to the sick ones, the neonatal ones, the ones who need me.
I would not be able to do any of what I do without events like Bark In The Park, and donors like you. Thank you for your support year after year. I can not wait to see what lives we are able to save and stories we are able to tell next year.
