Park at Short Pump Elementary School at 3425 Pump Road
Bark in the Park is free to attend. The main event is a 2k Dog Walk to raise money for Henrico Humane Society (no dog required)!
Registration is $15 for one adult and $20 for two. Kids ages 6-12 are $5, and kids under 6 and dogs are free. Online registration has closed but you can register on site starting at 10 am..

11:30 am Parade of dogs adopted from HHS (register onsite)

Dogs must be leashed at all times unless in the fenced dog park area. Retractable leashes are strongly discouraged - learn why here. If used, retractable leashes must be locked at 6’ while on the dog walk and at the event.

For their safety, it is strongly recommended that puppies attending the event should have completed their DAPP vaccine series, which is typically by the time they are 16-18 weeks old – learn why here.

Female dogs in season (“heat”) may not participate in the dog walk for the safety and experience of all pets and their owners.
