The mission of Beat Bama Food Drive is to act on our belief in the basic human rights of adequate nutrition, by providing ongoing support to the Food Bank of East Alabama through raising awareness, educating a unified Auburn community, creating fundraising opportunities and collecting donations to actively fight food insecurity in East Alabama. In doing just this, we can live out the Auburn Creed, which speaks to the power of "the human touch, which cultivates sympathy with my fellow men and mutual helpfulness and brings happiness for all." With that in mind, over the next few weeks, Auburn through the East Alabama Food Bank will compete with the University of Alabama, in an effort to collect and donate more food in the weeks preceding the Iron Bowl.
