Beat Bama Food Drive is an annual 6-week Food Drive that doubles as a competition against the University of Alabama, to try and raise the most money for our respective Food Banks.
This year I have the incredible opportunity of serving BBFD as the Vice President of Operations alongside the 74 most servant-hearted students that I'm proud to call my BBFD Family. At the heart of this organization is kindness.
I believe that no one should go to bed hungry. I believe that no one should have to choose between their dignity and their next meal. I believe that no one should ever feel the gnawing pain of worrying when his or her next meal will be or where it will come from. And I believe that you can turn a blind eye or you can turn a life around.
