My Personal Fundraising Page
214,200 households in Alabama are food insecure, meaning they lack access to a sufficient amount of nutritious food. This alarming number is the reason I decided to get involved with the Beat Bama Food Drive, because I believe nobody should have to question where their next meal is coming from.
All proceeds raised on behalf of the Beat Bama Food Drive go directly to the Food Bank of East Alabama, which serves 7 counties in our surrounding area. The food bank relies on our drive to carry them through the holiday season well into the following year. Just $1 can be stretched to SEVEN meals at the food bank.
With all that being said, I have the privilege of serving as the Vice President of Alumni and Administration for the Beat Bama Food Drive this year. I am so excited that I get to give back to my university and community in this way. Please join me in fighting food insecurity right here in our backyard!
