Hello, my name is Hallie Young and I have been given the amazing oppurtunity to serve on Auburn University's Beat Bama Food Drive Committee.

Food is not only the fuel for our bodies, but brings families and friends together for celebrations and offers comfort in times of need. Today, for 1 in 6 Americans hunger is their reality. Here in Lee County, 25,000 indviduals do not know where there next meal will come from.

From now unitl November 16th, we will be collecting donations. The donations we receieve will go directly to the East Alabama Food Bank, which serves seven counties in our area. One single dollar can provide up to 7 pounds of food for a family in need. Please consider donating, because we can beat hunger!
