My Personal Fundraising Page
Why am I involved?
The Auburn Creed states, "I believe in the human touch which cultivates sympathy with my fellow men, and mutual helpfulness and brings happiness for all."
We are called to help others. Food insecurity is a group effort, which means we help others to end it. Unfortunately, more than 25,000 individuals in Lee County live with food insecurity. That is more than 16 percent of Lee County residents who are unsure of where their next meal will come from. We cultivate sympathy when we notice the food insecurity around us. When we realize that it is very prominent around us, we are noticing a struggle of our fellow men. With helpfulness like the Beat Bama Food Drive, we can all strive for happiness and the best well-being for all. Thus, the Beat Bama Food Drive to end food insecurity is only the beginning but a very important example of embodying the Auburn Creed and being an Auburn man or woman. And because I am an Auburn woman, I believe in the Beat Bama Food Drive and love supporting it! War Eagle!
Every $1 can provide up to 7 meals. Let's donate what we can to help our fellow men!
