Hey y'all! Thank you so much for checking out my page! I have the honor of serving on the Beat Bama Food Drive staff this year as Director of Publicity. I have a goal of raising $250 for the Food Bank of East Alabama to benefit those in my area who are facing food insecurity. Auburn University is located in Lee County, where 60% of children are on free/reduced price lunch systems. In neighboring Macon County, 100% of children are. This many children are only able to have a stable source of food through school. In the food bank's seven county service area, 65,000 are food insecure. While I realize these are sobering statistics, I am going to throw out one more. By donating only $1, you can provide seven meals to someone who doesn't know where their next meal is coming from. This just shows that any and all donations are useful and appreciated so dearly! I cannot reach my goal on my own and any help is a lot of help! A big thank you again and War Eagle!
