Allison's BBGives Fundraising Page

As many of you know, I am the Chief Financial Officer at BB360 (formerly known as BB Camp LLC). I have worked for this magical organization for 16 years now.

I'm contacting you today to ask for your support for my personal fundraiser on Giving Tuesday, Dec 3rd. Our small but mighty organization has set a goal of raising $120,000 and we could use your help in reaching that goal. Every gift--from $10-$1000 helps me achieve my personal goal of $2,500 which will support BB360 in fulfilling its mission all year long.

So let me tell you why this organization is so magical...

First off, we focus on the kids. 2024 has been a tough year to be a Jewish kid. We have kids in our camp community who have been directly affected by the violence in Israel or directly targeted by anti-semitism here in the U.S. The pro-Palestinian/anti-Israel protests on college campuses around the country have disrupted the lives of our college students (summer camp staff and camper alumni). But BB360 has been there to support them all. We've sent messages of support to our former staff members in Israel. We welcomed the largest delegation we've ever had of Israeli staff this past summer. We have visited college campuses in our area to keep in touch with our alumni and offer a friendly face. Our summer camps provided safe spaces for all of our campers and young adult staff to be proud of their Jewishness, safe from harassment, and supported in their emotional healing. Our summer camps exuded Joy and Spirit because everyone felt safe in their space.

Second, the people I work with are amazing. All of our year-round staff are passionate about their jobs and highly devoted to providing the best experience to each of our participants. This creates a great work environment.

Third (certainly not the last) is the organization's concern about the community. This could be providing meals to those impacted by storms or other emergencies, or meals to the local shelters in Lincoln City, or meals to the local kids out of school for the summer. This includes providing financial aid for all of our programs, from children through adults and families, so that everyone can find a place to feel safe, have fun, and be joyful. This also includes welcoming over 2,000 people to our Retreat center, providing Jewish children's books to kids all over the State of Oregon, supporting the BBYO teen groups, and serving countless day camp, overnight camp, and adult and family campers throughout the year. There is always something going on in our organization.

And, once again, we are having an internal competition. Y'all stepped up with your donations last year, and I was the top individual fundraiser, earning me the honor of having our conference room named after me (see photo below). Well, that honor is on the line again, and I have a lot of competition. So I could use your support to keep it.
