I became a BIG over five years ago when I was matched with Sydney. Syd and I will be celebrating our 6 year anniversary in April. Through the years our relationship has grown and flourished into a real bond. I admire Syd's love for the people around her and the life she lives. I have watched Syd grow from a shy 13 year old into a girl that is ready to take on the world. I am so proud of Sydney and her accomplishments. Syd will be graduating from high school in June and starting at Geneva College in the fall. Even though we will no longer be a "match" under Big Brothers Big Sisters of Beaver County, we have a friendship that will last a life time.
