IT'S DRIVE TIME! My name is Hannah Shoener and I have the honor of serving as the Vice President of Marketing for this year's Beat Bama Food Drive. I am so passionate about this organization and this event because food brings people together. It not just a basic human need. Food provides community. It breeds confidence and gives hope. I've always had the luxury of knowing when my next meal was coming. 1 in 6 Alabamians do not. This year, I am committed to raising $500 for the Food Bank of East Alabama and to give back to the Auburn community that has given me a home these past 4 years.
