Hello, my name is Tripp Moss and I am a Junior here at Auburn University. I have always had a strong interest in community involvement and service. I have been fortunate enough to get a role on Auburn University's Beat Bama Food Drive Committee and I plan to utilize my time in the organization. BBFD promotes the awarness of food insecurity across Alabama and we would like for YOU to donate however much you feel is necessary to our organization. This money will be going towards The Food Bank of East Alabama and will result in benefiting families across Alabama. There are currently 911,440 Alabama residents that are food insecure, meaning they do not know whether or not they will have a next meal. Each year we compete against The University of Alabama in a race to see who can compile the greatest amount of food. We destroyed them them last year by a margin of 95,400 pounds of food. Our total was 245,722 pounds to their 150,322 pounds and we would like to accumulate even more this year.
