I got involved in Beat Bama Food Drive (BBFD) because 1 in 5 children in Lee County live in poverty/are food insecure. This number is too high. People should not have to worry about where their next meal will come from. As Director of the Auction, I have been planning an event that will raise money to fight food insecurity in East Alabama.
