Bridging, a nonprofit organization serving the greater Twin Cities, is the largest furniture bank in North America. Through the effective reuse of donated items, Bridging improves lives by providing quality furniture and household good to those transitioning out of homelessness and poverty. Driven by volunteers and donations of furniture and household goods from the community, Bridging has furnished nearly 90,000 homes since 1987. To learn more and get involved, visit bridging.org.
Furnishing Homes with Hope Since 1987
Bridging was founded on one simple, yet powerful idea—that together we can create a bridge between those in need and those with excess. Since the first donated item, Bridging has provided the basic home essentials to over 90,000 families.
Without your help, we simply could not help those in need throughout the Twin Cities. Check out the many different ways you can engage! We rely on our volunteers to do just about everything at Bridging. Our volunteers are the glue that keeps Bridging together.
Items that no longer have meaning to you can mean the world to a family or individual in need. Donate quality, gently used items and furnish a home with hope. In addition, Bridging saves over 10 million pounds from the landfills each year!
