Bridging was founded on one simple, yet powerful idea - that together we can build a bridge between those in need and those with excess. 

I truly believe in this powerful idea - and am thrilled to work at Bridging, and be a part of this incredible mission, every day!

I see the difference that furniture, dishes, blankets, towels, artwork, (and so much more) can make when someone is overcoming poverty-related obstacles to stable housing.  I am lucky to work at a place where I get to share these beautiful household items with hundreds of wonderful people each week. These are things I take for granted, and am reminded on a daily basis how meaningful a coffee maker, or a pillow, or a kitchen table can be.

A house is truly more than four walls and a roof over one's head - it is a place to build a life. The hope that a comfortable and stable home provides, especially during this time of uncertainty, is immeasurable.
