Join us for this day of extreme "fun-raising"!
OUTRAGEOUS FUN FOR A GREAT CAUSE! We can't thank you enough for embracing winter and helping us do some extreme "fun-raising". All donations directly benefit Bridging and make a life-changing impact on local families and individuals pursuing housing stability. By fundraising, you are helping Bridging provide quality furniture and household goods to more than 4,500 families each year. These clients are referred to us through more than 250 local agency partners. In order to serve this many families, we need your support. Every dollar raised makes an impact on Bridging's mission. Get Started!
Bedracers are asked to participate in fundraising to bring in dollars for Bridging to FURNISH HOMES WITH HOPE. This year's fundraising goal is $125,000. With your help, we can reach that goal! Your support of Bridging makes it possible for us to continue to serve 100 households each week. Each team and individual member will have their own personal fundraising page and online resources to help you meet the required team fundraising minimum of $400 to race!
Prizes
When the races are done, the celebration begins! Prizes (and bragging rights) are awarded to the top three fundraising teams from each team category: Corporate/Civic/Organization Teams and Family & Friends Teams.
Prizes are also awarded to the top three fastest teams, and the top three best team costumes!
Bridging is excited to announce that we have teamed up with Minnesota artist Adam Turman to create a commemorative illustration to celebrate this event!
All bedrace participants will receive a free 25th Anniversary stainless steel pint cup featuring Adam Turman’s artwork, brought to you by Luther Auto.
In addition, we also created a limited number of hand-screen-printed posters signed by Adam Turman. The posters will not be for sale - the only way you can get your hands on one is to win it!
Screen prints will be included in all prize packages this year.
It’s easy to raise funds and find supporters.
Each team and individual member will have their own personal fundraising page and online resources to make fundraising simple.
- You can quickly send emails to family, friends and co-workers to support your team.
- You can thank your supporters and send them messages.
- Tracking your fundraising is a breeze on your personal fundraising pages. See how much you've raised and who has donated.
- And, you can customize your fundraising page, and make it your own! Add photos, personal messages and videos of yours or those provided by Bridging. If you raced in previous years, you can find photos from past Bedraces on our Flickr pages and upload them right on to your personal page.
Each team starts with a designated team captain. Team Captains can also use the online resources to invite others to join your team, manage your team, and send updates, messages of encouragement or information to your team.
Your supporters can donate online right through your personal fundraising page. All of your supporters will automatically receive receipts from Bridging, so you will not have to take care of that. They can also donate directly by cash or check and you can add this amount to your fundraising total and then turn in the cash and checks on the day of the event.
