Face to Face Health and Counseling/ SafeZone drop-in center for youth. The team of Kitchen Betty and the Utensils all work at the youth drop-in. The majority of the clients we serve will make use of the services at Bridging when they secure permanent housing. “Kitchen Betty”, our team captain and cook for the drop in can dish it out as well as she can take it. She is serving it up hot and putting it away cold! Madison “The Fork” Gately is our fearless drop in Supervisor. The Fork holds everything in place and she is on top of things. She will pin you down on deadlines but she is not too busy to scrape a plate or two! Felicia “The Spoon” Nguyen in an Advocate at the drop in. She holds the team together and gives those youth extra scoops. She has a heart for service and an infectious giggle! David “The Knife” Starks is our Power In Peace Supervisor. When he is not cutting it up in the drop in, he is slicing through the criminal Justice system with clients and getting to the meat of things. He is one sharp, mother’s best friend! Tek “The Mic” amplifies youth voices and advocates for their needs. As our Recording Arts specialist, he helps youth find their voice and boosts self esteem. He brings the boom and lays it down smooth.

Bridging, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization primarily serving the Twin Cities, provides donated furniture and household goods to families and individuals pursuing housing stability. Bridging gives hope – and for many – a leap toward financial stability for the first time. With locations in Roseville and Bloomington, Bridging is driven by volunteers and donations of basic home essential items from the community.
