Your support helps Bridging FURNISH HOMES WITH HOPE for over 5,000 families each year—impacting nearly 120 households every week.
Bridging, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization primarily serving the Twin Cities, provides donated furniture and household goods to families and individuals pursuing housing stability. Bridging gives hope – and for many – a leap toward financial stability for the first time. With locations in Roseville and Bloomington, Bridging is driven by volunteers and donations of basic home essential items from the community.

The SafeZone Sliders are a dedicated group working to empower youth to reach their goals. Nabila Jaffer- Case Manager Supervisor, is the meat and cheese (Halal of course) of our slider. She is wrangling the case managers that support our youth, supporting them, and still finds time to support her individual case load. She provides the sustenance. Jacqulin “J” Cater- Patient Support Specialist, is the extra ingredient in our slider. You know-the caramelized onions, the spicy pickles, that dash of horseradish. J provides that extra support to our youth accessing prenatal care. J provides resources they didn’t know were available but so glad they found them. Julie “Kitchen Betty” McCarthy is a Youth Advocate and the SafeZone cook. Kitchen Betty is the warm bun of our slider. Nothing too flashy, just holding it together and making the team look good. “Bumper” Dave McCarthy is Kitchen Betty’s main squeeze. He doesn’t work at SafeZone but is an active supporter of F2F and Bridging. He’s a ringer, plain and simple but we couldn’t race without him.
