A year ago I decided to run all of the marathon majors (New York City, Chicago, Boston, London, Berlin and Tokyo). As part of the journey I want to raise money for families and individuals effected by Autism in honor of my son Max. Max was diagnosed high function ASD at 3 years old. It's presented a lot of challenges for him, but also our family, even with him being high functioning. Running has become a family affair for us and Max not only loves to cheer me on, but ran his first mile race last year. I couldn't think of a better way to honor him and support other families and individuals.
The Flutie Foundation helps families and individuals dealing with Autism with a broad spectrum of assistance focused on ensuring that individuals with Autism have the opportunity to live and happy, productive and successful lives.
