What is Bowl for Kids' Sake?

Bowl for Kids' Sake is our largest fundraiser that takes place in the spring every year. Participants register online or via the paper registration form and create teams of 6. After you register, it's time to fundraise for your team. We suggest that each team set a goal of raising $500 collectively, but some raise over $2,000; the goal is up to you! On the day of the event, turn in any cash/check donations you have collected and celebrate your fundraising success with a two-hour bowling party! Each participant must raise a minimum of $30 to participate. Raise $50 and you will also receive a T-shirt & Sunglasses! During the event, we will have a photo booth where your team can take photos and each participant has a chance to win prizes. We will also be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win some awesome raffle items! 

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwesten Indiana is a one-to-one mentoring program dedicated to improving the lives of children in our community. We provide children with one-to-one mentoring relationships that empower them to become more successful adults. Established in 1969, we currently serve children in Vanderburgh, Warrick, Posey, Spencer, and Gibson Counties in Southwest Indiana, and Henderson County in Kentucky.

It's  FUN & Easy way to give back to your community. Because of Bowl for Kids' Sake, more Bigs and Littles can be paired up, more friendships can be created and improved outlooks on life can be started.

Get in the game today! Just follow the simple steps below:

  1. Form a team. Form a six-person team today! Teams can consist of anyone - friends, family, coworkers, girlfriends, boyfriends, cousins, neighbors, brothers, sisters - ANYONE can join your team!

  2.  Register. It's so easy! You can register in three different ways.

    1.  Online: Click the "register" button above

    3.  Call: 812-425-6076 Ex. 6

  3. Fundraise for BBBS. When you register online, an online fundraising page is created for you. Share that page through social media, email, and text, or ask for donations in person- whatever works best for you! It's almost too easy! Before you know it, you will be a fundraising rockstar! Each participant must raise a minimum of $30 to participate. Raise $50 and you will also receive sunglasses & a t-shirt! Fundraising Goals: Individual: $100 Team: $500 or More... 

  4. Come out to Party! All that fundraising work wasn't for nothing! Arrive at your selected session to celebrate in style! During the event, we will have a photo booth where your team can take photos and each participant has a chance to win prizes. We will also be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win some awesome raffle items! Don't forget to bring your pledge envelope too, remember, it's for the kids!
