I am a former "Big" and was able to see first hand the difference Big Brothers and Big Sisters can make in a child's life. After the first couple of meets I was already able to see the increase in self esteem and personal confidence in my "Little." Seeing and knowing that somebody is taking the time to spend with them gives them a sense of self worth and makes a lasting impression.
