I am on a mission to support the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands by raising money for their bowling event! The Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands has been serving the community for over 65 years by facilitating mentorship programs in the community.
I recently joined BBBS as a "Big" in their community-based mentor program. This means I am matched with a "Little" (youth) in the community who could benefit from a positive adult mentor relationship outside of the home.
I joined BBBS after finding a letter I wrote to myself when I was 16. After reading the letter, I realized I could have used someone like the person I am now back then.
This bowling event is the biggest fundraiser of the year for BBBS. I am captaining a team of fellow classmates from Creighton University. Our fundraising goal is $2000. The highest donor to any of our individual or team pages will get to design/pick out the pjs we wear to bowl! The more outrageous (kid-friendly!) the better!
