What a time this has been! As family, as a board member, and as just another person trying to get by, I have been so impressed with the folks at NWDSA over the past 18 months, as they have worked to advocate for information and access around COVID care and vaccines, all the while continuing to offer top-notch community support—welcoming new families, providing inclusive education advocacy to families and school districts, offering online trainings via Zoom, and just generally always being there for all of us. And they made not just one but TWO comic books! Who does that?
As ever, and more than ever, I have been grateful to and humbled by this might community this year, and I hope you will consider joining me in my support as we launch our second ever Virtual BuddyFestNW!
