Register today to attend three (3) 45 minute workshops, plus a career panel on STEM related topics.  Learn about careers in STEM fields and meet potential mentors.  Explore post-secondary career pathways and other STEM programs that can be pursued in high school and in college. 

The STEM Conference is specifically for 4th - 9th grade students.

Cyber Attack! - What is cybersecurity? Learn how to protect yourself from cyber-attacks and phishing.
Dry Ice Capades - Witness the phenomenon of sublimation, the unique properties of dry ice & the spectacular "smoke" it creates.
Help Us Save the World! Plasma and Fusion Energy - What is the 4th state of matter?  Learn about the properties of plasma by exploring fusion energy and plasma physics. 
Introduction to Python - Ever wonder what goes into website development? Game creation? Introduction to Python will give you a quick overview of all things Python.
Make Your Own Scented Lotion and Explore the World of Fragrances - Create your own lotion while learning about emulsions and fragrances
Oceans, Weather and Climate - Examine the physics of our Earth's oceans and atmosphere.
Phytoplankton:  Jewels of the Delaware River - Explore the Delaware River and learn how to collect, process, and examine the planktonic community.
Roller Coaster Engineering - Design your own mini roller coaster and participate in a STEM Challenge.
Slime Time - Explore, create and slime around with the most entertaining and useful molecule known to science...polymers. 
Strawberry DNA - Discover how scientists use DNA research by extracting DNA from a strawberry.
Suspension Bridges - Become a Civil Engineer and challenge yourself to build the strongest suspension bridge.
